Will this shoe hold up as a wader in the Florida gulf waters?

These would likely hold up pretty well, buy they are boat shoes, not wading shoes. I'd suggest something with more ankle support for wading because you never quite know what you may step on in the water, and a twisted ankle can easily ruin a day of fishing. I'd suggest looking into a pair of G3 Guide Wading Boots or perhps the Zipit Bootie II if you are looking for something a bit lighter.
