Best deck boot going
April 20, 2019
I've tried so many different deck boots in my life and none provide comfort for 16 hour plus canyon trips. I can wear this boot on a 30 hour overnighter and have zero foot pain when I take them off back at the dock. Simms doesn't get enough credit in offshore fishing - they don't have huge advertising budgets or blow up Instagram with photos of hit chicks like other companies. This boot was actually designed for long backcountry treks along rocky riverbeds, etc.. but just morphed into a deck boot that blows away anything out there in terms of comfort and traction on deck. Take a look at other companies latest deck boot designs and then compare them to this boot that has been around for years - they are all copycats.
Pros
  • Comfort
  • Durability
  • Traction
Cons
  • None
