The first ever fishing rod built to fish PowerPro. Using Shimano's TC4 technology we have created the lightest and most powerful rod ever built. Using EVA grips and custom Shimano Aluminum Reel Seats matched with the new Fuji K Guide with Alconite Rings, this rod series is built to perfection. Both spinning and casting rods range from 15 lb to 100 lb top shots. These rods are a perfect match for Talica, Trinidad A, Stella and Thunnus.

Absolutely love this rod, paired it with a 10k size shimano saragosa. I’ve used it from everything to bridge snook and large reds to sharks and gag grouper. It has great sensitivity when using live baits and the back bone to pull up large fish or turn heads.
Pros
  • Back bone strength and tip sensitivity.
Cons
  • None

Put a Cabo 60 spooled with 65# spider wire. I can pull anything from the bottom of the Pacific Ocean off the west coast of Oregon. Plan on using for tuna and halibut this year. Don’t see any problems.

This rod can handle everything you throw at it. It's tough, strong and sensitive. The Terez line of rods are some of the best made. From medium to extra heavy, these rods will help you catch more fish !!!
Pros
  • Made for braid. Light weight. Sensitive. Strong. Tough. Comfortable
Cons
  • A fairly light tip for some situations.

Shimano TZS72MBLK Terez Spinning Rod, Used this rod for everything and it's a great all around boat rod. I've jigged up to 5oz with it, thrown lures with it and bottom fished with it.
Pros
  • Great all around rod
Cons
  • Heard they dont like being dropped. Hand mine bounce of the rail and hasn't broken yet. I guess time will tell.

Is there any problem for using 100lb braid on this rod, i want to order this one as there is no black in heavy or extra heavy available.
1 Answer
We actually have the following rod in stock: Shimano TZS72HBLK Black Spinning Rod, SHM-2361-6. We are currently out of the XH 7'2", but it can be ordered. Give us a call if you want to order one. This would be a better choice for 100lb braid.
