1) What is a slickbutt rod?
2) I like rods with mixed cork and rubber handles, or 100% cork. I just purchased a Diawa GB 6500 for offshore Jigging and Casting. Can you recommend a rod?
My budget is $150-$200 ish.

A slick butt rod is a smooth plastic instead of the cork or EVA foam grip. I would recommend using the Shimano TMS-F70H Teramar Inshore Southeast Spinning Rod.
