Forming the most comprehensive series of freshwater trolling rods to date, the Shimano Talora Trolling Rods are completely redesigned for 2019. These rods feature the same classic actions that created the Talora legacy. Built on Shimano's renowned TC4 blanks, this new Talora series features models designed to cater to a variety of freshwater trolling techniques including dipsy diver, downrigger/planer board, leadcore, and kokanee fishing. All models are fitted with SeaGuide Aluminum Oxide guides except for the leadcore models, which feature SeaGuide Wire Frame guides to accommodate leadcore and wire lines. All models feature comfortable EVA handles, excluding the ultra-light kokanee rod which has cork handles. Shimano encourages anglers to pair their Talora rods with their Tekota level wind conventional reels for the ultimate freshwater trolling experience.

This will sound like an uneducated question but just wondering exactly how "bendy" this rod is. Looking for some power at the butt end but a good 1/2 to 2/3 of the upper section to bend over for downrigging. I can't get my hands on one to bend it over to see where it quits. Thx.

Not an uneducated question at all. We haven't been able to get our hands on the model in question yet, but we would expect it to follow the moderate fast action Shimano specs it at. Check out the graphic below for what to expect as far as bend:
