I'm looking for a mid-shore trolling rod to drag 18" side trackers. Thinking of pairing this with a Speedmaster 20II. Would this rod be a good choice, or should I go heavier?

Hi Bryan, For your fishing application I would recommend the TackleDirect TDSSUT601MHSB Silver Hook Series Conventional Stand Up Rod. This rod is a little heavier and would be better suited for trolling wide tracker spreader bars. https://www.tackledirect.com/tackledirect-tdssut601mhsb-custom-saltwater-conventional-rod.html Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist you with. Tight Lines.
