Great Trout Rod
May 17, 2022
I bought a pair to lend out to friends for inshore. I found that I like them better than a more expensive brands I was using. Very responsive and sensitive. Great for specks and reds. Pair it up with a decent 2500 series reel and you got the trout/red slayer.
Pros
  • Great handles
  • Well balanced
  • Sturdy yet sensitive
  • Great inexpensive rod
Cons
  • Kind of old school reel seat.

Good rod for the money
August 29, 2020
Bought this rod years ago as a replacement for a much more expensive rod that I had foolishly broken. Still fish the cheap replacement. Much better and more responsive rod than price would indicate.
Pros
  • Responsive, economical rod

First Rod I Grab
August 26, 2020
I love this Rod, sadly it looks like they are stopping production. I have a medium heavy 7' one piece. Have caught thousands of fish, including some big muskies while fishing for walleye! Best rod for the price by far!
Pros
  • Durable, strong back bone, sensitive tip.
Cons
  • None
