Bought this looking for a rod that not as stiff, but knowing
Shimano quality I knew they would have it figured out and as-per most anything Shimano they nailed it. It's my go to smallmouth rod exceptionally sensitive. Great backbone.

Cons
- If I find any ill let you know. But it might be a while..still fishing
- Curado's from 2007 that have never been touched other than yearly cleaning and maintenance.

Absolutely love the SLX line of rods! Great action, quality you can feel and, light as a feather! Pair this with the SLX DC reel for an amazing combo!

For only $100 this rod is incredible. I paired with with the SLX reel as well. I did the heavy power, with heavy braid for a thick cover set up. Punches through great, and Rarely gets hung up.

Great rod for the money. Light in weight, very sensitive, and great action I cast 1/4oz. to 1 1/2oz. No problem. Overall great Bass rod.
