Shimano has always produced quality gear, and the lures live up to reputation. Really high quality look and feel... would definitely add more to my arsenal.

Looking forward to using this once the tuna start showing again. Call me crazy, but I think the white actually has a flourescent, day glow, effect once in the water
Pros
  • Nice workmanship
Cons
  • Wish it had two single hooks, not two treble hooks.

OK lure, but for price should be better
July 24, 2018
Colors and construction are OK however for plugs primarily intended for salt water use the hooks are of poor quality materials and not the best design (should not be treble hooks)

Pink Stripe - AKA Nemo
July 31, 2017
I made fun of my friend last year when he pulled out the "Nemo" colored popper when we were rigging up our rods. But I didn't laugh when he crushed the Bluefin tuna that day. The pink stripe color actually works!
Pros
  • Well constructed, good hooks.
Cons
  • None.

Very nice!

Nice finish expected from Shimano products. Hooks look solid & glad it's not a treble. When you cast into the wind at the beach you can hear noise produced from bubble chamber. Its a trip! Haven't caught anything on it yet.

Lure works great. The overall quality and finish of the lure is second to none. The hooks and swivels are very nice and sharp. First cast I made with it was right on a skipjacks nose and he was in the boat in no time.
Pros
  • The whole lure
Cons
  • None

The 150 states that it is a sinking model. Is it a top water popper or no?
1 Answer
This is a topwater lure. Some poppers are rated for sinking, but the action of the plug is designed that way. Usually these lures are designed this way for better casting, as well as to give the plug a different presentation than that of a floating version.
