Shimano SP-ORCA Sinking Pencil Lures are designed to be fished sub surface. Cast into busting fish on surface whether it is Tuna, Yellowtail, Dorado or Striped Bass. Let the Orca sink to the desired depth and give the rod a nice jerk. After the jerk flip the bail open to let it free fall back down. Repeat that motion over and over again or until you are out of the bite zone. The SP-ORCA is designed to slowly sink in a horizontal position and roll & wobble when jerked imitating an injured baitfish.
  • Efficient aerodynamic design creates a long powerful cast
  • The proprietary internal weight position produces an erratic jerk & wobbling action
  • Ultra sharp, high tensile strength treble hooks secure your catch

The Shimano Orca Sinking Pencil is a great lure that can be used either casting or trolling. It has caught me many Blackfin and Yellowfin tuna. I prefer Blue Sardine.
