Went out of Port Aransas prior to the Hurricane...Fishing for Tuna under the Rig Lights.
After catching 8 Blackfin with my lighter tackle ..clipped the Orca on to my mid heavy with the Fin-Nor reel.Three casts..WHAMO,..
A 18 pound Yellow Fin..lure casts well and has good action.Can't wait to go out after all the destruction is cleaned up.

Works great if they’re busting on the surface but anything does in those circumstances. Seems to be built well. I consider it over priced but that subjective. It’s a nice lure.

it says 80-100 pond leader, but it isnt that big, do you think i could go lighter?

The 80-100 lb leader is a suggested line weight to use for the lure. You can go a bit lighter on the mono but i would recommend staying close to the suggested line weight.
