Good bass rod
October 27, 2017
Good action and strong for freshwater bass fishing. I have it paired with a Shimano R2000 and recently a Shimano Sahara C3000HG. Light and two-piece for easy transport. Strong enough for bass and even small catfish.
Pros
  • Light
  • Compact
  • Strong

Great backup/travel rod
October 11, 2015
I fish several of these rods when traveling. I have a 9', 8', 7' and 5.5'. They are all cheap fiberglas rods. Plus side is when my wife calls me and tells me she broke one of my rods in the car door, I can breathe easy when it is one of these. I have nicer rods, but they don't catch anymore fish than these...
Pros
  • cheap
  • light
  • durable
  • versatile
Cons
  • slow action compared to graphite
