Epitomizing the tournament caliber performance demanded by elite anglers, the Shimano Expride B Spinning Rods combine premium components with the most advanced rod technologies. Given an upgrade for 2022, the Expride series has long stood as a benchmark by which high performance bass rods were judged, and this newest generation lives up to its legacy. Returning to the blueprint of the Expride B is Shimano's renowned Hi-Power X blank technology, where an outer layer of carbon tape tightly winds the blank diagonally in opposite directions for enhanced torsional rigidity and heightened responsiveness. Hi-Power X blanks are revered for their ability to provide much more accurate casts by reducing blank twist and ovalization, while providing precise power transfer and control when fighting a fish. New to the Expride B is the Carbon Monocoque handle system. This innovative and lightweight hollow carbon rear-grip increases vibration transfer through the rod and into an angler's hand for up to 30% more sensitivity for superior bite transmission. Also enhancing sensitivity is the ergonomic and super comfortable CI4+ reel seat, which sits between a premium quality cork fore-grip and mid-grip. Fuji SiC guides offer superior line management and durability, along with smooth friction free casting. The range of models has been expanded in this latest generation to include more fine-tuned rod actions with models specifically designed for finesse, power fishing, versatility, and even throwing large swimbaits.

Hello. I plan on getting the 7ftM rod. Would the shimano sustain 3000 be a good match for it? Thank you.

Hi Mel, The Shimano SAC3000HGFJ Sustain FJ Spinning Reel would be a great reel to pair with the Shimano EXS70MB Expride B Spinning Rod. However, since it's currently sold out I would also recommend a Shimano STC3000XGFL Stradic FL Spinning Reel. https://www.tackledirect.com/shimano-stc3000xgfl-stradic-fl-spinning-reel.html This would also be great combo to pair with the Shimano EXS70MB Expride Spinning Rod for any inshore fishing application. Please let us know if theres anything else we can assist you with. Tight Lines
