My new Shimano Expride EX270MA

Shimano Expride is a super rod for the money-PERIOD!! The fit and finish are perfect. I really love the CI4+ reel seat. It feels great in the hand. The Stradic 2500 FL mated to it balances combo perfectly. This combo fishes with the best of them.
Pros
  • 1.. Fit and Finish are flawless 2.. Very sensitive 3.. Balances extremely well with a 7 to 9 oz. reel. 4.. CI4+ reel seat is the most comfortable out there. 5.. Good power
Cons
  • This is not a con for me but rod does not have hook keeper. (for those who need one)

Excellent value for the price.

Feels more like a pan fish rod in your hands but handles large bass like a much heavier rod. Cast or flip small finesse baits and feel every rock or grass clump. My go to rod for light neko or senko worms.
Pros
  • Light and strong beyond expectations. Surprisingly well balanced with a 3000 size reel.
Cons
  • None I have found
