Shimano Curado 70 Baitcasting Reels are made with a Hagane body. They are the perfect reels for pitching, flipping, and casting light lures with new smaller compact size. The hagane body allows for all day in-hand comfort. These reels also feature Shimano's X-Ship technology which provides smoothness and durability. These reels feature Shimano Stable Spool Design (S3D) that reduces vibrations, and increases casting performance. Anglers have expected great things from the Shimano Curado reels for decades. These reels are ideal and the go-to casting reels for bass, walleye, redfish, and trout species.

Really like this reel for applications that require working the bait, because of it's compact size. It's my go to rip bait reel and I like it for light line applications as well. Casts light lures nicely too.

What can I say about this reel? It handles 1/8 jigs with ease and resists backlash as good as the Tatula SV. Try it out!

Hello I had a question, which reel is better overall, this one or the Shimano Chronarch Ci4 plus ? And can either of those reels be used for Saltwater ? Thanks
1 Answers
The CI4+ is a better all around reel casting, retrieve and durablity. The Chronarch can be used in saltwater.
