Own the 7'11" and wish the guides were a lot stronger (for the price and brand name). Love the cork handle and the rod can handle large fish with no problems. Loads great if using weight rated for the rod and the backbone is tough. Pair with a good reel and cast a mile.

Love this rod for senkos and ikas. Seems to have all the backbone of a MH with better castability. Good general use rod.
Pros
- Great casting and hooksetting with worms, jigs etc. great ika, senior rod too!
Cons
- None do far. Like it better than my MH Crucials.

hello, are you guys a authorized distributer for Shimano rods? just curious because i read on their website that they will not honor their 1 year warranty if the rod is purchased from a unauthorized dealer. if you guys are i will pick one of these up, pretty hard to get my hand on one of these!
