This has been my favorite rod to cast jig heads for speck trout, slot reds and flounder. Paired with a 2500 series reel it’s light for casting all day, sensitive enough to feel the tick of a trout in winter and has enough backbone to fight 8lb red fish. Mines four years old and has been fished hard and I’m back for another.
