Gets down to the strike zone quick in moderate current. Will catch anything that swims. Just had an assist hook and a barrel swivel and your good to go.

What is the difference between these Shimano butterfly jigs BFLFS112 and JTVF112 other than color? They both have exactly the same name?

They are the same butterfly flat side jig, just with different design/color to it. The BFLFS112 has more of a variety color wise, and a different scheme or design to the color on the body; they are a more reflective color style. The JTVF112 is just the one color scheme pictured (and spotted). Also, the BFLFS112 comes with the hooks as pictured, and JTVF112 DOES NOT come with any hooks.
