Why is it almost the same price as the Metanium 15 DC Shimano reel

The Aldebaran utilizes a lot of the same technology seen in the high end Shimano reels such as the SVS breaking system, the S3D stable spool design, magnesium body, etc. The Aldebaran is a much smaller baitcasting reel designed for casting lighter baits and finesse fishing applications. It features a lot of the technologies seen in the Metanium DC Japanese model, but of course, does not have the digital cast control system.
