Good Starter / Budget Rod

Very surprised that these aren't more expensive considering how well made these are for the low price. Definitely recommended for anyone starting out or on a budget. 7'6" casting rod has worked great for most light / medium applications in PA freshwater.

ugly sticks are fantastic beginner rods or beater poles because you can't kill them. The cork grips are just the icing on the cake with these.I always wanted cork grips on my pole and had to order them separate and it was a pain in the butt to put them on!

What is the butt length on these rods?

We do currently have the Shakespeare USECA702UL Ugly Stik Elite Spinning Rod in stock. the cork length is 9 1/2 inches. From the middle of the of the reel seat to the end of the butt is 11 inches long. Thank you for considering TackleDirect for your fishing needs.
