it's a bargain for a locally made rod. I know I know its not the same seeker it was 5 years ago. but its an American made rod, looks good, works good. I'm happy I bought it. I'll grab another one for a spinning tuna setup in the next year. this one I just got has an mxj avet on it and its dope.

How is this rod rated, heavy extra heavy? Medium action, fast action?

Unfortunately the manufacturer does not list these specifications, but given the 25-40 line class i would say this is similiar to a medium heavy power blank
