I have the Spinning version, 1st generation.20 years in the Amazon and Caribbean.
July 4, 2020
Purchased it in 2000 on a whim. Took it to the Amazon for 3 months. Paired it with a VanStaal VS150 packed with PowerPro #30. It caught big fish, fast fish, bottom fish and I swapped out the top shot three times.
The rod is incredibly light and has a sensitive tip to flick lures and fish bait. At first I was afraid I was going to break Break with the force I asked of it - to my amazement After 17 more trips to the Amazon all the guides are good, the reel seat too, and the blank may show it’s been used, but is perfectly functional.
It has exceeded all my expectations.
Cons
  • None that I can think of

This an awesome rod. Very light, great action and built with top of the line components. Seeker does not skip a beat.
My 858 is paired with a Tranx 300. This is a very versatile rod for 20lb line class. Inshore, off shore, plastics, jigs, live bait it does it all for me in San Diego as my medium baitcaster outfit.
It’s cost may seem a bit steep, but you get what you pay for on top of it being produced in the USA.
Pros
  • Exceptional product. Made in America. Ships directly from the Seeker factory.
Cons
  • None

Purchased this rod to pair with my Penn Fathom 15. Ended up with a super light, SUPER STRONG combo that I was able to fish all day with. Like all seeker rods, this rod is extremely well built and extremely strong. I was able to put the hurt on the fish and not on my back. Highly recommend this series of Rods by Seeker.
Pros
  • - Incredibly strong
  • - Very Light
  • - Very Sensitive
Cons
  • None so far

BCBW 709 can be good togging rod? I usually fish up to 100ft deep water togging with 8~12 oz sinker.

Seung, that would be a good rod for your application also take a look at the Trevala jigging rods from Shimano.
