Incredible impact and abrasion resistance. Fast sinking. Superior tensile and knot strength. The original FC (Blue Lable) Seaguar 100% fluorocarbon leader material allows you to use a smaller test leader than comparable nylons or fluorocarbons for unmatched bait presentations. No wonder it's preferred by anglers the world over.

Great stuff
August 15, 2022
Great fluorocarbon! I prefer buying in the 100Y spools so I know I always have enough when I go out on the water and it takes up the same amount of space as the 25Y and 50Y so why not get it in the bigger size.
Pros
  • Last a long time
Cons
  • None

20 and 30 lb class
May 8, 2022
we recently used this around Key Largo and had very good results catching and releasing many pieces during our stay. Using it out on a party boat we see there was a difference between our bites and those around us. Would definitely buy again.
Pros
  • easy to work with
  • seemed to out fish those around us.
Cons
  • 40 lb material is priced unfairly, wonder why ;( .

industry standard leader
March 31, 2022
this is the standard for leader material that everything is compared too. after switching over from mono, flouro is definitely much more abrasion resistant but is also more expensive.
i use flouro for my ccc jigging leaders, but still use mono for the beach
Pros
  • super strong
Cons
  • cost

Tough leader for tough fish
June 27, 2021
I’ve used this leader for anything that bites. This has worked well for amber jacks, African pompano and other tough fighting fish. Love that it comes in 100 yard lengths. Very durable, too.
Pros
  • Tough, durable and lots of it.
Cons
  • None!

40 lb “All Around Winner”
June 27, 2021
This leader is outstanding for a huge spectrum of saltwater fish. From grouper to snapper, it’s a great all around leader for deeper water species. Keen eyed snapper may need smaller leader, but this one has caught many mutton snappers, scamp grouper, red grouper and yellowtail snapper.
Pros
  • Great strength and durable material.
Cons
  • None.

Top FC line leader
June 23, 2021
Seaguar is top FC line leader on the market. Over the years people have been using it for leader and it holds it's reputation. It's as spec for the diameter and ABS breaking strength. Also has very good abrasion resistance. Among the best tough leader you can buy on the market.

Seaguar is the Best!
April 12, 2020
I use Seaguar on all of my reels conventional and spinning. Top shot of the Seaguar is the way to go. I have spools from 15# to 100#, I love the abrasion resistance it gives me. From the beach shore fishing to off shore fishing on my skiff.
Pros
  • Great abrasion resistance

Excellent Flourcarbon, just enough softness for great connection to braid
February 11, 2020
Been using Seaguar flourocarbon for most of my salt water needs. Have used other flouros - but prefer this one as it isn't so hard that the braid slips so easily. When tying an FG, or even improved Albright I like that the braid can bite in just enough.

Also very abrasion resistant.
Pros
  • Abrasion resistant
  • Just soft enough that connections work better
