these are great when you want a fish finder and you were plugging and dont want to retie, put a hook on your ta clip and wrap this around your standing line. however every time you re cast you better check the dial slide. because it will turn on its own and open so must check it or you will loose your sinker and ff. they need to make the lock a little stronger on the turn dial.
Cons
  • open on its own and you occasionally loose sinkers when casting

This product is so easy to put on and take off without cutting your knots. Basically if you want to switch from bottom fishing to top water plug it's easy to take off.
Pros
  • High grade plastic doesn't cut line.
Cons
  • None

Don't stay locked

The twist locks dont stay locked on the line. I have lost a whole pack with the the sinkers due to this. I tired them on braid and also mono lines and happened with both. Stick to the non twist lock.

Interesting Design

I haven't been able to use these yet, but the design is fairly interesting. After placing the line in the middle, you twist the yellow section 180 degrees and that "locks" the line in. I'll be interested to see how this performs with some weight attached to it.

How do you connect the sinker.?

The end with the open eye you would pop out and slide the wire through the end of your sinker. Personally I prefer the slides with the snap swivel because it is much easier for me to get the weights on. The link for the ones that I use can be seen below. http://www.tackledirect.com/sea-striker-duo-lock-snap-fish-finder.html
