Works great, but use a bead and a big swivel

this does the job for a fishfinder rig, but it would be better if the split the plastic slide and used the clip to close it so that you don't have to cut your swivel and leader to switch from different terminal tackle. You also have to use a bead, as the plastic slide will jam on your knot and swivel.

Some weights will not work with this because the wire will not pass through the opening in the weight. I’ve had a few break where the wire goes through the plastic slide.
