gear head is cool

I bought one of these, and I like the gear head, but I found the extension too long to be useful.
I took some stainless washers and used it as a truss to bolt the gear head to a milk crate, and it made a really nice strong and permanent rod holder on the milk crate. I like the way the gear head instantly accepts a Scotty rod holder, holds it secure, twist it to release
