Works great the 1 ft crank is nothing with a 6# weight. Going up to a 10# next season. The clamp fits around the 2" gunwel but had to remove the plastics clamp cushions and cut a wooden wedge for the clamps.

Hello, I have a Callegari semi rigid boat (19 feet lenght), and I am needing a Downrigger with clamp mount and at least 150 feet cable. It will be use for freshwater lakes. Is this the right downrigger or you recommend another one?
