We have a lot of sand eels where I fish. This is my choice when I want to get closer to the bottom, especially when there's strong current. Casts very well for the type.

these are the go to at the canal. they cast better than other jig swimbaits, they are a few dollars more expensive though. colors are great, i have caught fish on just about all of them

Affordable and works at the canal for the cows. Is able to get deep faster through the currents and has great tail action. Nice hooks on the jug head as well.
