Built to do battle with the hardest fighting inshore game fish up and down the coast, the Savage Gear Battletek Inshore Spinning Rods were engineered to perform in unforgiving saltwater environments. Built on a 30-ton high modulus carbon blank, the Battletek Inshore Rods are lightweight, sensitive, and feature highly responsive fast actions. The soft and highly responsive tip allows for precision casting of small jigs like artificial shrimp and small swimbaits, while the rod's solid backbone has the power to stop bull reds and large stripers dead in their tracks. Reinforced by Savage Gear's advanced 1DFR technology, material composition is altered towards the top third of the blank to greatly enhance hoop strength, and reduce the chances of stress related failure. Fitted with highly corrosion resistant components including Seaguide stainless steel tangle free guides with SiC inserts, the Battletek Inshore is a dependable fishing tool that will serve you well on any coastline.

Used the mh for snook, bluefish, mackerel, and drums even hooked into a massive ray an handled it no problem. Matched with a 4000 stradic, this rod rips.
Pros
  • Lightweight
Cons
  • Fg knot is a necessity because eyelets are small.

I got the 7'2 MH and it's amazing. It's sensitive and light enough to cast lures all day long. I caught my PB Redfish on this and it hauled it in with ease. It also looks awesome.

One of my favorite rods for a great price! I’m budget friendly and this is a bit outta my price range but man was it worth it!

I usually stay cheaper then this rod but I’m glad I bought it. Eyelets are perfect and sensitivity is awesome. Love the feel and look. I currently use the 7.7 medium light but I will be buy the m and mh too!
Pros
  • Everything definitely a nice rod.
Cons
  • Nothing I can tell after multiple fishing trips and multiple fish.
