A worthy weapon of choice for the competitive bass fisherman, the Savage Gear Battletek Spinning Rods will have you well equipped for any tournament level angling scenario. Built on a 30-ton high modulus carbon blank with varying technique specific tapers, the Battletek provides precise actions that can help you dial in your favorite techniques to get the most out of your efforts. Blank durability is greatly enhanced with Savage Gear's advanced 1DFR technology, where material composition is altered towards the top third of the blank to greatly reinforce strength without altering the action. By fortifying the tip, anglers can drive their hooks home and horse fish out of heavy cover with confidence. The Battletek Rods are equipped with quality components including Seaguide stainless steel tangle free guides with SiC inserts for optimal line management, along with a Seaguide blank-exposed reel seat for maximum sensitivity. Featuring an unmistakable military green styling, the Savage Gear Battletek Rods are a solid addition to any bass fishing arsenal.

Jaw dropping performance & design

Purchased the 7'1" Medium (BTFS71MF) and I'm mind-blown at the sheer weightlessness and sensitivity of this rod. Every detail and component on this rod gets top marks from me in terms of refinement and it looks great aesthetically. This is my favorite and most heavily used rod now. I'll be looking to purchase the MH once it comes back in stock.
