The Savage Gear Alien Eel is regarded as one of the most versatile big Pike and Muskie lures ever created. This lures is usually fished very slowly on a straight retrieve, allowing the specially designed tail and side fins to kick and swing through the water. This slow kicking action triggers big strikes from big predatory fish. Many anglers will also fish the Alien Eel with a much faster retrieve with stops and jerks to entice a more reactive bite. They can also be trolled at a variety of speeds. Alien Eels feature a closed circuit stainless steel harness to maximize strength and durability.

#Replacement Tail

Great lure and you will get follows on this with the action it has, however they bite that tail right off on the short strikes.
Pros
- They have great colors and look great in the water with lots of action. only problem with lost if action musky fishing is the short strikes at the boat.
Cons
- Short strikes from a musky take that tail right off and after that it?s useless. Replaceable tails would be a excellent option.

Excellent lure but it needs a replacement tail. I get so many fallows and short strikes at the boat and the tail on this takes a beating in just one trip.
