Denkert maneuvers his flats skiff into clear, shallow water to sight-fish for reds and snook. From the poling platform, he spots muds and gamefish off his boat's bow in potholes and tells his crew exactly where to cast.

Toward the end of the episode, Capt. Denkert even trades places with his crew and shows he still knows how to catch fish. All told, dozens of snook and redfish were brought to the boat, admired, unhooked and released.
