Solidly Built, Decent Price, But Barely Rattle

Overall quality and rigging is good. Price is slightly cheaper than similar Mojos. It will definitely catch fish, but I”m not really impressed with the rattle. I expected a nice solid rattlle like many of my poppers and topwaters have, but that is definitely not the case here. It sounds like there are only one or two tiny BB’s in the lead head. Again, it’s a nice Mojo, but the only reason that I went with this brand was because it claimed to rattle and I can barely even hear a rattle.
Pros
  • Good Rigging
  • Solidly Built
  • Decent price
  • Pre-rigged with shad body
  • Nice hook
Cons
  • Barely even rattles

Fantastic Lure!

This is one monster of a buck tail. With a little practice and the correct tackle, they are deadly on trophy striped bass. Proper rigging is crucial and depth control is very important. Trolling them on braid is they way to go; I tried wire and it was difficult to manage a two pound lure on wire.
Pros
  • 1 - Very durable.
  • 2 - Heavy duty hook.
  • 3 - They catch fish.
Cons
  • Tough getting the 9" shad body on the 12/0 hook; a little practice and just be careful of that BIG hook.
  • Head paint could be a little tougher.
