This is my absolute favorite tog jig for both the jetties and the boats. The tog love these jigs, I like to tip mine with green crabs whenever I am fishing. They give the bait great action when jigged because of the shape of the jig head.

The packaging does not label the size and type of hooks on these jigs, but in looking at them the 1 oz. thru 3 oz. jigs seem to use a 4/0 hook size, the 4 oz. jigs have a 5/0 hook, and the 6 oz thru 8 oz. jigs have a 6/0 hook.
Please keep in mind that these are visual estimates as the manufacturer does not specify in writing the exact hook sizing.

If I was going to fish this jig, I would put a piece of Gulp or a strip of bait on the hook and just bounce it up and down near or on the bottom. If you actually wanted to put a crab on it, you would just hook it through the side or back and just lightly jig it where you think the fish are.
