Saltwater:  Use the SL600 for Striped Bass and Tuna in rougher than normal conditions. It allows you to add additional weight to get your bait down and keep it there.

Freshwater: Inland lakes can get rough as well. Use it the SL600 for landlocked stripers for great performance. If you target large catfish the SL600 is perfect for keeping those large baits just above the large wooded trees these use as ambush points.

RediRig release floats let you position your baits at any depth and hold it there, even on a drift or slow troll. The RediRig floats attach to your line in seconds without having to tie them to your line. On the hook-set, the pull on line releases the line from the rubber grips then slides freely along your line, so you can land the fish without stopping to fight the tackle.

Convenient

Have not caught anything with one yet but is really nice addition to the spread. Gets the large baits and rigs out away from the boat with out complications since slip cork stops get hung up/caught on the guides level winder the spool when you have it at 30 foot up the line
Pros
  • Simple, self contained, can push small glow lights into it

Great Float

I love this float. It use it on a flat line while bottom fishing in saltwater. It works great and would recommend it to a friend.
Pros
  • Lets you position baits at any depth and the float slides freely as you reel in your fish.
  • Can be added quickly without having to tie on the float or add stops.
Cons
  • Expensive, but worth it

Works excellent on my shark rigs

Stays attached and freely slides down the line after a strike. Nothing left to float away in the ocean! I would give it 5 stars, but have not owned it long enough to determine how well the hardware will hold up in the saltwater yet.
