it does weigh a bit, but i dont see that being a problem because i attach it to my bag anyway

what kinda fisherman cries over the large size of a tape measure? Guess some are happy with really small fish

I mean... I guess the picture is arguably to scale because... it’s a measuring tape... but I did NOT expect this thing to be so massive!
I had to re-check the product info here to see if I missed the KING-SIZED label and nope, not there.
3 stars because I need to return this or else use it as a sinker because this bad boy is hefty. I don’t need to take it out of it’s package to see that does it’s job of measuring but I won’t be measuring any fish with this this year. It’s not hard to find a tape that goes to 60”. Why does this one have to be so laughably BIG?!

I loved this thing because it was so portable. I could take it on my boat,my buddy's boat, and surf fishing. It is also one of the few measuring devices I've seen that is long enough to measure a larger fish (up to 60"). Worked great for one season and yesterday it died. The recoil spring mechanism stopped retracting. Could be my fault, I doubt it. I cut the strap from the retracting device to keep the tape wich is really tough and easy to read.
I'll buy another one, for $20 it's worth it.
