It catches fish

The diving plug has been around awhile and works great for numerous species. I've used them the most for pike, but I've also caught bass on them, among others. Works great. Be sure and use the appropriate color depending on water conditions, species targeted, and time of year. Also, note that different diving Rapala plugs have different depths at which they run, so use the appropriate one for the situation.
