I use duolock snaps for attaching sinkers from two to eight ounces, while surf fishing. I used these vigorously during two recent mid-Atlantic surf fish tournaments, with no failures. Have thrown six oz. pyramids in heavy surf with no issues. The gauge of the wire seems light and flexible. I can not attest to its capacity on heavier weights.

We use the #51 Rosco snaps with freshwater crankbaits and topwaters in place of the split rings. Makes bait changes quick and easy. They are lightweight, strong, and dependable and the black finish makes them almost invisible. Recommended!

I have been making custom big game leaders for 30+ years here in the Houston and Galveston, Tx area. I use Rosco Duolock Snaps as an integral part of the Redfish/Drum leaders. I use them to attach the weight/spider weight on my rigs, they are easy to change and are very dependable. I highly recommend Rosco Snaps!

Good product, very adaptable. This is the size (54, which is you would use for 20 - 40 lb test applications. These are good, pretty easy to open

How small is the size #51 (Rosco- R51DOG3BL) duolock snap swivel? I have some by laker that are so small you almost need needle nose pliars to open/close the snap. Laker does not make that size no longer. I want them for all my panfishing/icefishing 1/32 oz and smaller jigs. They are a god send for micro tackle.
