I have the 6'10" med heavy with a diawa reel and 17 pound test floro on it. It fishs jerkbaits, swim baits with ease, great action and is now my favorit all purpose casting rod. Can't wait to get another one.

Quantum offers a limited 5 year warranty on all their rods, reels, and combos. Unfortunately, this rod is now discontinued which may affect the warranty. Attached below is a link to Quantum's warranty page.
