Awesome Rod

This is by far the best crankbait rod that I have ever fished with. I have 4 of these rods and will definitely be ordering more. These rods are great because they make models for shallow cranking to throwing a deep 10 XD crankbait. Tackle Direct has wonderful customer service, and I will continue to get my rods from them.

This rod is just about right for what I wanted it for.. 1.5-2.5 sized Square Bills.. and Wiggle Wart size medium divers.. Great price point as well..!

needed a square bill crank bait rod

I already own a KVD Tour crank bait rod in the 7' 4" model and really liked the performance. when it came time for a shorter square bill rod, the 7' model was a natural choice. I saw the price drop from Tackle Direct and had to act. I have tried all glass crank bait rods but prefer the combination of glass and graphite. The KVD Tour crankers are great rods for their intended purpose.
Pros
- softer, slower action, but still crisp enough for accurate casting. Still relatively light for a crank bait rod. Quite sensitive for this type of rod.

I purchased two of these rods about a month ago and I absolutely love them! I’ve already caught a ton of fish on them including a ten pounder! They perform very well and you can cast them a mile!

I've used many rods for cranking, but the peeps at Quantum and KVD got this one 100% right. I've ordered two more in different powers and lengths and can't wait for them to arrive.
Pros
- Smooth and LONG casting. Incredible feel, especially in deep water. Strong spine and light enough to cast all day without fatigue.
Cons
- none with the product, but I will no longer be using Tackle Direct. Didn't realize they don't accept returns on merchandise. That's pretty sorry. Tackle Warehouse, here I come!
