It's been 5 years since I purchase this reel and it cast like a new one,it is up there with the Japanese high-end reels .

An Incredible Reel...

Being a long-time Shimano fan, I was initially skeptical about this purchase, but talk about an incredible reel... It competes head to head with the Core, same light weight construction (5.4oz), easily accommodates 150 yds of 30lb braid with room to spare, and is smooth, smooth, smooth... I've never been able to throw light-weight lures into a direct headwind with any kind of distance and virtually zero bird's nests once dialed in... at 2/3's the price of a 50Mg, you can't go wrong with giving this one a field trial..!!
