I've been using this for LMB tossing jerkbaits, cranks, jigs, and t-rigs. Haven't tested it in the salt yet but it feels rugged with its aluminum frame, not sure if it's sealed or anything but it's got plenty of quantum grease all over the reel

When I first got the reel about eighteen months ago, I really liked the reel. However, after a couple of extended casting sessions the reel became increasingly rough and noisy. During cleaning, close inspection showed significant wear on the main gear teeth. I sent the reel to Quantum for service, but it still wasn’t nearly as smooth or quiet as my Orra S inshore or Lews custom inshore bait casters. Nonetheless, I continued to use it from time to time. While changing rods, one of the kids snagged the line and it fell on the floor and the the palm side cover cracked. I contacted Quantum and the part has been discontinued. This is a current production reel, mind you. Save your money and get something else.
