The Quantum Accurist PTI Spinning Reels are designed with an aluminum frame and gear side cover that are made from custom machined aluminum and provide a solid foundation for the gears drive, shaft and bearings. These spinning reels also have ceramic drag washers to improve performance and quickly dissipate the extreme heat from a hard running fish. The Accurist PTi reels have a titanium bail wire that is made from flexible, durable nickel titanium and is warranted for life. The reels come equipped with a razor rotor that reduces weight but not performance.

Was great til it broke a bail spring then even after replacing it reel never was the same

I've had this reel for 3 years now and its great for small inshore fishing and largemouth bass. Never had any issues with it but needs tape over spool to prevent slipping of line.

I gave mine away-the bail would not engage properly. Stick to Shimano IMHO
