After seeing a U-tube video, on making Ur own bait - I purchased this product and followed the instructions presented on the video......... Being a Cat-fisherman (We will try anything once or twice and maybe three times to catch a nice cat fish) I have used all forms and tactics to get LIVER to stay reasonably on my hooks ............ Except this one !!!!!! And it really works!!!!! and U can pitch liver as far as Ur rod,reel, and talent will allow U to cast ............... It is amazing and the best thing that ever has happen to fishing for catfish with liver,Plus this product adds a scent trail and attractants to the liver as it cures ,makes it tough for the fish to get off Ur hook (thus Hopefully catching more than one on the same bait) .............. We fished this product using 3 lbs of chicken liver , fished 10 days ,fairly hard attempts - had numerous baits , caught a lot of cat fish on this product and Liver ................................... My 15 yr old son landed a 16 and 3/4 pound channel cat, We caught channels from 3 lbs to 19 lbs and 3 blues - 12 lbs,28 lbs , 34 lbs all in a 48 hr period , from the bank, in about a 100 ft area , 5 ft to 12 ft of water, from 7 pm to 5 pm ...............
