Terrible in the surf. Not even splash resistant.

I’ve bought three separate Princeton Tec headlamps and they are not suitable for surf fishing. Forget dunking; these things don’t survive a saltwater splash or even a light rain. I did try the Navisafe from TD and that one is far more water resistant. Favorite headlamp for surf fishing ended up being one from Black Diamond which unfortunately TD doesn’t yet carry.
