PowerPro Zero-Impact Microfilament Braided Fishing Line introduces Termination Zone Technology. Line strength in Termination Zone (3 ft) is 50% stronger compared to nominal zone (20 ft) without compromising total line capacity on the reel. Simply tie your knot in one of the 36 inch clearly black marked Termination Zones for a level of confidence that is unmatched by any other Superline on the market.

The Hi-Vis Yellow PowerPro Zero-Impact is designed for applications where a high visibility line is necessary. It is typical for anglers to use a short fluorocarbon leader with Hi-Viz lines, especially in clear waters. The angler is able to accomplish the goal of having a line that is invisible to fish that are close to the bait or lure by adding fluorocarbon. Yellow PowerPro applications range from Bobber fishing the rivers of the Great North West to Fly-lining sardines and anchovies along the California coast, fishing the lakes and rivers of our Nation's central regions for bass, walleye and catfish to targeting Fluke and Stripers in the North East. High visibility lines also appeal to pelagic fisherman looking for better spread management on the troll and inshore fisherman targeting Snook, redfish and trout.

PowerPro Zero impact is must for Florida fish. One minute your pulling on 18" Red and the next a 30" snook. Never second guessing PowerPro Zero impact. If using a fluorocarbon leader, learn the FG knot.

What is the main difference between this and the regular Power Pro braid or Super Slick?
1 Answer
The regular power pro is just standard braid while the super slick has a waxy like coating that helps increase casting distance.

do I still need to add fluorocarbon line as a leader?
1 Answer
The fluorocarbon leader keeps the fish from seeing the line and acts as a shock leader. The feature of Zero Impact that makes it great is the 36" "knot zone". Knots tied in this zone are much stronger than those tied in the other part of the line.
