All my fishing is braid to leader. I've used 4 branfs and keep coming back to power pro. Ban the plastic slinky! Be sure to use the right knots to leader and to terminal. Not all knots are equal.

I use this line on my "mid-ultralight" setup (a Fenwick 7 ft Ultralight rod with a Mitchell 310 reel). As long as you do not over-load the reel, it cast extremely well, and is not prone to bunching in the rod guides. Just have to remember 2 things - don't put to much line on the reel, and use a leaderr!

Shimano loves to be spooled with PowerPro

I spool all my Shimano's exclusively with PowerPro and I never have an issue.

I've used many different kinds of braided line over the years, and find the PowerPro to perform the best for my uses. High quality line and the price is reasonable. For general freshwater fishing, I'd recommend the moss green color in most conditions.

One of my go to braided lines for perch!
I have liked using power pro for a while it's definitely strong and smooth!
Have had a little issues with wind knots when there is a on shore wind.
Would still recomend it because of the good attributes and the nice price!
