Point Jude Lures gold Nautilus will get distance with the long cast but rides up in the water column because of the lure's keel shaped bottom. The Nautilus has a seductive side to side wiggle that can be used in surprisingly shallow waters for a 3 1/2 oz lure. Of course the gold color works well in the low light of dawn and dusk and in ''less than clear'' water.

I bought this for when the fish are far offshore and I need to launch something out there. It is a burly offering and casts a mile. It also swims well and it's pretty easy to keep it off the bottom. I like the gold and yellow for low light conditions. It has a nice shimmy to it.
