Tougher and cheaper than fluorocarbon
February 25, 2020
We've been using fluorocarbon and I've been looking for a cheaper alternative. Mono is actually more abrasive resistant and significantly less expensive. We fish the Chesapeake Bay and Potomac River where the water can be light or dark brown, aka not clear. So we're switching to 60# mono this year.
