Quality box

This is a high quality box and great craftsmanship however it is slightly wider than my built in storage in my boat so it won’t fit. I have several older 3700 boxes and I ordered a full set of these Plano edge boxes so I would have a matching set.

Over-Priced for Functionality Provided

My principal complaint with this box is that you cannot do full length rows for large lures - like the long Bombers or Hydros, or even the Mag Darters. The box is not as "flexible" as it's cracked up to be and at over $30/copy (not a reflection on Tackle Direct - it's comparably priced everywhere), I find that bothersome You end up having to kludge your rows which have gaps and the dividers just fall out. It's a nice box, but the cost is too high for the functionality provided.

  • Not as "flexible" as manufacturer claims.
  • Not really viable for full length rows to accommodate large lures.

Great design. Can customize the box a zillion ways. Air tight and waterproof for sure. I also like that it is thinner than other boxes and easier to store.

A Great Addition for Terminal Tackle Organization

I am ecstatic about this 3600 Flex customizable utility box. Hats off to PLANO for coming up with a supreme terminal tackle box with flexible sized compartments. Though its a bit more expensive, the ability to organize terminal tackle is worth it. Also, the top pops off easily, once you are accustomed to the method of closure, its a breeze to use. I have the Plano shoulder carrier bag and it fits neatly into the bag.
Pros
  • Neatly organizes your terminal tackle for a day trip or weekender and the storage box is of excellent quality high grade plastic.
Cons
  • The price may deter those on a limited budget; but it's a storage box that does its job.
